housingmatch is an independent platform that helps landlords and tenants find each other faster. We are not affiliated with the government.

What we collect

• Your login email. We only collect your email so we can save your matches, preferences, and call notes to your account across devices. That's it.
• Your saved listings and private notes. Visible only to you when signed in.
• Anonymous ratings. When you log a call about a building (live person, availability, friendliness), your answers are stored without your name or email and shown to neighbors as aggregate counts. Your personal notes are never shared.
• Analytics. We use Lovable's built-in analytics cookies that aggregate information about usage. You can manage your preferences here: lovable.dev/cookie-settings

What we don't do

• We do not share identifiable information with any third parties. Ever.
• We don't sell your data.
• We don't submit your application to any property. You are responsible for that.
• We don't ask for or store your Social Security Number.

Email alerts

If you turn on email alerts from your Saved Matches page, we'll email your login address when new affordable listings match your preferences. You can turn this off anytime from the same toggle.

Your choices

You can clear your saved matches anytime, turn off email alerts, or email us to delete your account.
